Mr J. W. Shackelford will address the electors of Eden in the Roskill Hall, Dominion-road, this evening. Mr H. M. Chisholm will preside. Mr J. B. Morton, of Onehunga, a can. didate for the Manukau seat, will address the electors at Papakura to-morrow night, and at Onehunga on the 15th inst. RANGITIKEI. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.) TAIHAPE, this day. Mr R, W. Smith, Independent Liberal candidate for Rangitikei, opened the campaign on Saturday night. He stated that, while a Liberal in tendency, he would not follow party leaders on questions upon which he held decided views. He was a freeholder, and was opposed to local option, but if it were made a Dominion vote, affecting the whole colony, he would be inclined to try Nolicense. GREYMOUTH.- ■ ■' '. GREYMOUTH, this day.
