The Canterbury Centre New Zealand Bowling Association decided to-night to rescind the resolution previously arrived at to the effect that ilnanclal responsibilities iv connection with the championship tournament be undertaken by the association and resolved that the centre take over all the responsibilities of the tournament financial and otherwise, it Was further decided, in view of the unlikelihood of the Australians competing, to adhere to the programme a3 ln previous years, also that singles be played in Christchurch, and that entries be un- , limited.
