CAMBRIDGE. Thursday. The Lnynl Duke of Cambridge Lodge members have Just i-omplcteil n very nice little hall in which to hold their meetings. It is situated in Empire-street, right in the centre of the town, and yet in a very quiet part of it. It was formally opened on Tuesday evening. A large number of visitors were present. Including many who belonged to other orders. The * Noble Grand. Bro. J. Kite, extended a bearrn welcome to the visitors, and nt tbe same time paid a graceful compliment to the trustees. Bros, Fletcher. Bell, and Byrne, to whose efforts, he sid. it was due that they were able to open their hall entirely free of debt. Bro. C. S. Stnart having resigned the office of permanent secretary. Kro. W. Sharkey was eleeteri to the position. The Loilse now numbers ronskierably rrver 100 members, and the acenmnlateri funds are about £1200. The Cambridge Road Board have declared what is known as Pickering's-road. at Tamaiere. dosed for a time.
