TANNERY EMPLOYEES' DISPUTE.

GOING TO ARBITRATION. There was a full meeting, of the Conciliation Board this morning to hear the dispute between the Auckland Fellmongers, Tanners, Soapworkers, and General Tannery Employees and Messrs. Hellaby and others. Mr. John Fawcus presided. Messrs. E. W. Alison, M.P., A. Miller, A. Rosser, and H. Banfield were the others present. The dispute had arisen through an application by the employees for new working_ conditions to supersede the old award. It was reported that both sides had decided to refer the dispute to the next Bitting of the Arbitration Court, so the Board adjourned immediately.
