PROPOSED LOAN FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE PERMANENT FORMATION 08 , CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF AUCKLAND, AND OTHEK IMPROVEMENTS THEKETHE MAYOR, COUNCILLORS, AND CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF AUCKLAND HEREBY GIVES NOTICE:— 1. That the Auckland City Council proposes to engage in the following undertaking, namely, the permanent formation and improvement of the following Streets in the City of Auckland, namely.-- Victoria Quadrant, Bowea Avenue, Eden-street, Parlia-ment-street, Waterloo Quadrant, Lowpr Symonds-street, Emily Place, Jcrniyn-street, Eden Crescent, Shortstreet. Oliphant-street, John-street, James-street, Richmond Road, Hep-burn-street, Grey-street, Hamilton Road, Laurence-street, Wood-street, Gordon Terrace, Burlelgh-street, Khbyer Pass, Brook Square. That the Auckland City Council, being unable to provide the necessary funds for such works out of the ordinary revenues of the City of Auckland, proposes to borrow a sum not exceeding £32.000 at a rate of interest not exceeding £4* per cent per annum. S. That the proposed security for the repayment of such loan shall be the revenues of the City of Auckland, subject to the existing loans chargeable on such revenues. 4. That the Auckland City Council proposes to make such loan repayable in 21 years, and proposes to make provision for the payment of a sinking fund of £i per cent per annum. 5. That the Auckland City Council proposes to pay out of the loan such costs, charges, and expenses as the Auckland City Council may determine to have been actually incurred in connection with such loan and the interest thereon for the first year. AND CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF AUCKLAND HEREBY GIVE NOTICE— L That the Auckland City Council proposes to engage in the following undertaking, namely, the erection and completion of a Town Hall for the City of Auckland. 2.
