ADD TASMANIAN PARLIAMENT (Received 10.16 a.m.) HOBART. this day. Mr. Nieholls, Leader of the Opposition, has tabled a no-confidcnco motion on the Address-in-Reply. LITHGOW IRONWORKS. SYDNEY, July 14. The Industrial Disputes Court to-day granted the application of ex-employees of the Lithgow Ironworks for a Wages Board to inquire into the stoppage. The men are claiming that they were locked out. Mr. Hoskins, the managing director of the company, has agreed to the appointment of the Board. TASMANIAN PARLIAMENT. HOBART, July 14. Parliament was opened to-day. The Governor's Speech promised that the whole system of taxation would be reviewed. An unimproved land value tax would be submitted, and the Licensing Act amended to provide for effective local option. Bills dealing with closer settlement and free education would *l«o be brought forward.
