HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. •'THE PRINCE CHAP." The production of "The Prince Chap" at His Majesty's Theatre this evening, promises to be a theatrical event of uncommon interest, both from the fact that it marks the re-appearanec of Mr. 11. It. Roberts, and that the play itself, according to all accounts, is a refreshingly new and powerful conception. Mr. J. F. Montague presided over a large meeting of "Auckland Old Boys" last night, who nad foregathered for the purpose of formulating a suitable welcomo to Mr. H. R. Roberts. It was decided to hold a theatre party on Thursday evening, reserving the whole dress circle for the purpose. Tickets issued by the committee at special rates, for both ladies and gentlemen, are to bo obtainable from Mcssts. Partridge, Queen-street, J. A. Cooper. Queen-street, and R. Eagleton, City Chambers. The exact form of the demonstration of welcome, is being kept secret.
