KILLED BY A MATE.
iIELBOURNE, July 4. A shooting fatality occurred at Black Hock this afternoon, Charles Gosling (21)', •being accidentally killed by a conin'ahion, Thomas Goldie, ,18 years- of age. They ■usually went shooting together on Saturday afternoons,'and' they were preparing to do so at!'the time of the; fatality. According tp' Goldie, deceased; -was called outside, and) during tiis absence lie put a cartridge in his gun.—a. single-bar- ,. rcl brcech-lPader. When he returned they j started larking, and as Gosling was going , put through the.door Goldie. said,/'Xpu , silly eppt, here goes," lip then lifted irp the* gun arid pulled the trigger.
