HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. Another good house greeted the third performance of the romantic play "A Beggar on Horseback" at His Majesty's last night. The acting of Mr; Harcourt Beatty, as Marley, Due de Tournay, and Miss Madge Mclntosh, as Lady Mary. Dudley, together with the interesting and stirring events that culminate in their happy reunion, won, unstinted approval from the audiern*. "A Beggar on Horseback" will be played to-night, and on Thursday "Camiile" will be revived for one night only. One leading Melbourne daily referred to Miss McIntosh's performance* as ".the very zenith of her success." The play will be staged with MeSsrs. Meynell and" Gunn's characteristic excellence. On Friday and Saturday, 'the final two nights of the season, "The Midnight Wedding" will be revived.
