A PERJURY CHARGE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) REEFTON, this day. A young man, John Cameron, was some time since fined £5 before Justices for using obscene language to a barmaid in a hotel, and in giving evidence absolutely denied the allegation, being supported by two of his mates. The Crown instituted proceedings for perjury, and the Magistrate commited Cameron to the District Court. The charge against one of his mates is proceeding.
