A meeting was held at Onehunga last evening, Mr. John Sowe presiding, for the purpose of raising funds for the benefit of the widow and family of the late James Barton. A strong committee was formed, and, after discussion, it was decided to adjourn until Monday evening, in order to meet the Borough Council.
