The regular meeting of the Auckland A. and P. Association was held this afternoon. •Mr Johu Massey occupied the chair, and there was a good attendance of members of the Executive Committee. Country Telephones.—A communication was received fioni Mr J. Logan, of the lelegraph Department, enclosing the regulations respecting to establishment of private telephonic lines in the country districts, and the conditions under which they could Ef™ ounecte .,l with the es =sting telephone bureaus.. The secretary said this arose ironi the action .taken at the last Agricultural Association Conference in Wellington when the Premier was approached' regarding the establishment of private lines.
