PORT ARTHUR TRIAL
General's Challenge to a Duel. ST. PETERSBURG, March 16. Owing to General Smirnoff having, during the Port Arthur trial, made statements reflecting on the honour of General Fock, the latter has challenged him to a duel with pistols at 15 paces. General Smirnoff has refused to accept the challenge unless his military superiors oraer him to do so.
