ROWING.
The opening of the rowing season takes place to-morrow, when trial fours will be rowed under the auspices of the Auckland Rowing Association for trophies presented by Mr N. Keir. Twenty-four crews, representing the various rowing clubs, will take part. The race will be. rowed "in three heats, arid 'tbe rendezvous is the Waitemata Boating Club's shed. Kings-drive. With eight crews In. each heat some, exciting finishes should be witnessed, and from a . spectacular point ■of view alone the races should prove a mag-, niflcent sight.
