ARBITRATION COURT.
CHBISTCHURCH. this day.
The Arbitration Court to-day decided 1 that in an application for the interpretation oi an award one party could be represented by counsel without the consent of the other party. George Simpson, builder, was fined £2 for paying a hod-carrier 8/ a day instead of 9/" The Court will sit-at Tiaiaru next week, and resume its sittings at Christchureh on Monday the 29th. The Court will then fix dates for the hearing of several industrial disputes.
DUXEDIN, this day. The Engineers have filed their first Sispute with the Arbitration Court, They ask for increased wages and new conditions.
