NEWMARKET FIRE BRIGADE.

The twentieth annual meeting of the Newmarket Fire Brigade was held at the Hal!. Newmarket, on Tuesday "evening. There were present: —The Mayor iMr F. Bennett, in the chair). Crs. H. Kinder. R. Smithson iGrey Lynn Fire Brigade), and a large nnrober of ex-firemen and friends. The secretary read the annual statement of srcr.unts. showing the receipts for the year to have been £70 16/. and the expenditure £61 fi/9, leaving a credit balance of £0 9.'".
