"A WHITE NEW ZEALAND.' 5 DUNEDIN, this day.; Mr A. W. Lloyd addressed a meeting of fruiterers and laundrymen here last night on the subject of "A White New Zealand." As a result, it was decided to hold a public meeting with a view to educating public opinion in the matter. The following resolution was carried unanimously:—"That this meeting, representative of the fruit industry and laundry business of Dunedin, emphatically declares itself in favour of the principle of a white New Zealand, and urges legislative action to restrict Asiatic immigration."
