THE PACIFIC DANGER.
"A PASSING STORM."
NO NEGOTIATIONS. (Br Cable.—Press Aesociation.—Copyright.) NEW YORK, July 11. Admiral Yamamoto, interviewed here, thought there was only a passing storm between Japan and the United States, and that it would disappear in the waters of the Pacific.
Much depended, he added, on the attitude of the Press, and he appealed to the newspapers to use their influence to maintain peace.
The State Department at Washington states that no negotiations are proceeding between Japan and the United States.
