Horses: On Friday, at the Durham Yards, horses were brought forward in Increased numbers and a good demand prevailed. Heavy draughts sold at from £29 15/ to £37 10/, no extra heavy sorts being yarded; medium do., £1S 15/ to £36; Ught harness horses, £9 10/ to £21; hacks, £6 10/ to £17; weeds, £2 5/ to £6 10/.
At Papa—lira on Wednesday there was a good muster for a winter sale. Dairy cows were yarded in large numbers, and sold at from £3 15/ to £S; dairy heifers, £2 15/ to £6 5/; two to three-year-old steers, £2 15/ to £4 17/6. No steers were yarded. Yearlings sold at £1 18/ to £3 17/6; calves, 15/ to £1 8/. Beef, of which there was a full muster, sold at fully New-
There was a full muster of stock of all descriptions at the Newmarket Yards on Tuesday. Dairy cows sold at from £3 10/ to £10 10/; heifers, £3 5/ to £6; empty cows, £1 18/ to £2 17/6; calves, 15/ to £1 9/. was yarded in full numbers, and although no extra heavy weights were yarded, the quality "was good- Oxen sold to 22/ per 1001b; cows', 17/ to 20/ per 1001b. Steers sold at from £6 10/ to £10 12/6; cows, £4 5/ to £8 10/.
Sheep: The Newmarket Yards were well filled with sheep on Tuesday, and met a ready sale, wethers selling at from 19/9 to' £1 II; ewes, 15/6 to £1 1/3; hoggets. 10/6 to 16/6.
Pigs were scarce. Porkers sold at from 18/9 to £1 II; baconers, £1 IS/ to £2 12/; weaners. 4/6 to S/.
We submitted an average catalogue of hides, skins, and tallow on Tuesday. Hides: Market lower. Best mixed, up to 276: good. 24 '6 to 25/6: seconds, 20/ to 21 '6: rough fat. IJd per lb. Hones. "£4 15/. Cowtails. 1/8 per dozen. , 1' to 1/3 per lb. Wool, in bags and dumps: Crossbred. Chaff: Local supplies have again ceased and the market is firm at £5 10/ ex store for prime samplesFowl wheat is selling slowly at 4/4 to 4/5 ex store.
Maize: Supplies are very heavy and the market is earier. selling at 3/3 ex store.
Butter: Prime separator is still selllns freely at Sid to Od.
