EGG-LAYING COMPETITION.

The ninth week of the competition promoted by the .North Island Egg-laying Association, Ltd., at Cambridge, was concluded on Friday, the sth July, 19U7. The number of eggs laid during the week was 1336, being an advance of 150 over any previous "week. TiK' total number of eggs laid"since Ist May was 7007. The highest layings lor tlie week were: A. C.
