By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PAEROA, Monday. Tic Battalion Band hold a promenade concert in the Drill Hall on Saturday evening next. As a Dumber of Thames and loca , vocalists have promised to assist, a great success is predicted. Oa Saturday night last a wrestling match was held in the Choral Hail between Richard Williams, of Coromandel and J Lonrie, of Hikutaia. for a stake of £20 aeide. The contest resulted in a win for Williams, he having obtained two falls out of three. Another match is taking, place to-night for a similar staie. St. Paul's Church of England choir hold a meeting to-morrow night for the purpose of resuscitating the musical and amusement society which was such a great success last year. Nest Sunday a church parade will be held. The corps on parade will probably consist of the No. 1 Ohinemuri Rifles, School Cadets, and a portion of the Thames Rioes. who hold a shooting match ou Saturday. The whole parade will be headed by the Battalion Band.
