EDEN CADETS. The Eden Cadets fired on Tuesday asl Thursday evenings of this week the first of a. series of competitions for the marble clock presented by Lieutenant Sinel. This competition embraces six matches,' of 10 shots each, the our best scores to count. Tuesday evening's march was headed by Corp. Holland, who put up the splendid score of 4S points out of the possible 50. Following were the scores:— Match No. 1, for Lieut. Sinel's trophy, 11 shots, sighting shot not to count—Corp. Holland, 48; Sergt. Campbell, 42; Cadet Cosgrave, 41; Col.-Sergt. Gray, 40: Sergt. Smith. 40: Cadet Porter, 3S; Drummer Crawford. 38; Cadet Caatell, 3S; Cadet Asmus. 37; Cadet Wattam, 36; Cadet Purchas, 35: Cadet Elliott. 33; Cadet Pctford. SO; Corp. Kernot. 30; Bugler Lord. 30; Cadet Gray. 20; Cadet Phihex. 20; Cadet Vernon. 27: Cadet Ingham, 26; Cadet Hardingc, 24; Cadet Whitford. 24; Cadet Warmsley, 17: Cadet Cundall. 16; Cadet Roberts, 14: Cadet Harwood. 10. Corp. Holland now holds he record since the range has been opeued, viz., seven consecutive bulls-eyes.
