i The Auckland Amateur Wrestling Championships, promoted by Professor Potter anil Mr .T. IT. Trudgeon, were continued last evening in the Foresters' Hall. Newton. Walters gave a fast and exciting exhibition, in which t__>re was very little mat work. In the first bout, Coliedge secured one point: No score was registered in the second bout, but ln the final, Colledge secured a fall after an ex- | citing 10 minutes. 1 Powell defeated Alpe after two brief bur highly exciting spells, securing two sft-aigQt-out falls. The p.ace was fast and furious, and in each fan "the loser was turned completely heels over head. CUMBERLAND STYLE. An exhibition in the Cumberland style was given by McNeil and Wallace, and was won by the latter by two fails to one. The finals will take place in the Foresters' Hall on Monday, June 17th, when Dunne and Leslie will, wrestle to a finish. Th. midddle-weight ehampionsMp will also be decided.
