PRODUCE KOTES FROM LONDON. (From Our Special Corresnondent.) LONDON, April 26. "Woo!.—There is no fresh feature to report, the markets generally continuing to present a healthy appearance. The list of arrivals for the third series, to commence on 30th inst.. was ciosed on 16th inst, the net quantity available, including old stock, aggregating 101,000 bales, ■of which it is estimated 95,000 bales are crossbred. Sew Zealand Ilenip.—The business passing has been within small compass, and consequent upon the weak tone in the Manila market, prices have declined continuonslr, at the close martins a . drop of £2 30/ to £3 per ton. Latest quotations: Good' fair, spot, £33 W, April-June £33; "fair," spot, £30 10/, April-.Tune £30; and fair current Manila, £37 per ton c.i.f. Tow, in moderate demand at £14 10/ per ton c.i.f. Frozen Meat.—Although a fair' demand Is now. ruling for New Zealand mutton, supplies, particularly from the North Island, have been in excess of trade requirements, and prices have tended in buyers' favour. Australian, which is now in small compass, has met a sloNv trade at aboni late rates. The cold weather recently experienced has slightly checked the demand for all descriptions of lamb, though large quantities are now going into conSumption. The principal inquiry is for 4's and 4's, and for prime Canterbury carcases up to 53d per lb is made off the hooks. Moderate snpplies for River Plate chilled beef have met a fair inquiry, though for fores less money has been accepted. Smaller arrivals of Hirer Plate frozen have enabled holders to make more rapid progress -Willi sales of New Zealand, but prices are particularly Tin changed, and latest quotations are as follows:—Canterbury I sheep. Sid to 4Jd; Australian lamb. 4id to 4Jd; North Island sheep, 3iW to Sjfi; Eiver Plate beef, chilled hinds, -IJd to 4gd; Australian sheep, 3id to Sgd; River Plate beef, chilled fores, 2Jd to iijd; River Plato sheep, 3gd to Sgd; River Plate beef, frozen hinds. 3d to 3sd; ewes, 3d to 3J<l: River Plate beef, frozen fores. 2Jd to 2iScl: Canterbury I lamb (best brands), 3d to 53d: New Zeai land beef, hinds, 3Jd to 3id: Canterbury I lamb (secondary). 4id to 4*d; New Zealand beef, fores, 2d to 2£d; North Island lamb, 4-M to 5d per lb off the hooks at SmUh- | field.

Butter.—Since my last report the trade penerally has been disastrous, both for producers and sellers. Tbe chief factor in tue decline is that Siberian, which is this year earlier on the market, has been offered at low prices. The N.Z.1., and M. quote: Choicest Victorian. 92/ to 04/; New Zealand, 07/ to 98/; milled and dairy. New Zealand. 74/ to SO/ per cwt. Cheese.—The trade has oeen very disappointing, and prices are weaker all round. Latest quotations:—New Zealand, 62/ to 03/; Canadian. 64/ to 6(5/ per ewt Cocksfoot.—The spot market has remained quiet, and almost all the available stock has passed into consumption at firm rates. Samples have been received of the new crop, and are of good quality, but little business has resulted, colonial ideas of value being above those prevailing here Latest quotations:—l7lb seed. 54/, and 161b seed, 52/ per csvt. ex warehouse; 181b seed, 53/6, 171b seed, 52/, and 161b seed, 50/ per cwt c.i.f.

Grains—The market for wheat, which has been quiet, became a little more animated during the last week, owing to unfavourable reports from America and the Contment, bnt closes quiet.
