Mr. Pierpont Morgan. The warring magnates have agreed to a temporary cessation of hostilities pending the. restoration of the .financial equilibrium. Mr. William Rockefeller declares that the reason for the astounding decline of securities is a mystery. There has been a substantial rally on the New York Stock Exchange.
