THE TRIAL OF THAW.
NEW YORK, March 15. The Thaw murder trial was resumed yesterday.
A witness named Hummell testified that Mrs. Thaw told him that it was untrue White had drugged and ruined her.' After listening to a hypothetical question she used 15,000 words, reciting the facts of the whole case.
Austin Flint, another expert in mental diseases, said that supposing the facts alleged in evidence to be true, Thaw knew the shooting of White was a wrongful act.
'Mr. Jerome, the prosecutor, intends to call five other mental specialists.
