MR. WHITELEY'S BENEFACTIONS.
Almshouses to be Erected. LONDON, March 15. Tie sum of £1,000,000 left by the late Mir. Whiteley, the universal provider, for almshouses and homes for the deserving poor is to be applied in the erection of nouses for tbe aged poor who have followed commercial and agricultural pursuits. Most of the money will be spent in England. The trustees include the Bishops of London and Stepney, Lord Hillingdon. Lord Sandhurst, and two of the testator's sons.
