THE EDUCATION BILL.
LONDON, June 16. The Chancellor of the Exchequer (Mr. H. Asquith), in a speech at Northampton. stated that he feared the Government would be compelled to drop for the present the second part of the Education Bill, though urgently needed in the interests of secondary schools. Mr. Baliours amendment in the House of Commons protests against guillotining the Education Bill, on the ground that it weald be unjust to unduly limit so important a discussion.
