WAIK2NO RUGBY UNION.

WAZEI,-.-this day. - The annual meeting of the Walkino Rugby Union, was held on Thursday last, Mr J. McKehna being in the chair. The annual report and balance-sheet were read, the latter showing a credit balance of £18 i/. The following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr H. Poland, M.H.R.; president, Mr H. Croucher; vice-presidents, Messrs R, P. Cotter, R, Montgomery. C. Inaley, D. Congleton, H. Crowley, H. Benner, iB. Williams, C. Miller, H. Robertson, J. Phillips, W. Edwards, T. Keohan, A. Pick-mere, F. E. Flattj secretary, Mr B. R. Dixon; treasurer, Mr D. S. Shaw; management committee, Messrs McKenna, J. Lavery, E. Hannon, A. Black, R. Stevenson, D. Baird; auditors, Messrs H. Crowley and L. U. Jolly. It was decided to affiliate with the Goldfields Union, Messrs R. Stevenson and A. Black being elected delegates.

i ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.

The North Shore Association Football Club held their twelfth annual meeting on Friday last, Mr W. G. Allen presiding over a large attendance. A credit balance of £8 10/2 was shown, and the report stated that the club's three teams had put up creditable performances. The following officers were elected for the coming season:—President, Colonel Burton; vice-presidents, as last year, with the addition Of Dr. Guinness; hon. secretary, Mr F. Leo. Prime; hon. treasurer, Mi: .W. Cotes.

TB AWAMUTTJ FOOTBALL CLUB.

Mr T. Bowden presided sorer the annual meeting of the Te Awamutu Football Club, which was held on Saturday last. A .credit of £13 0/9 was shown, and outstanding subscriptions amounting to £6 13/. The following oificers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr F. W. Lang; vice-presidents, Messrs Wm. Taylor, W. G. Park, F. McGovern, 'P. O'Connor, M. S. Laurie, R. S., Galbraith, and E. AUCKLAND HOCKEY CLUB.

The annual meeting of the Auckland Hockey Club was held at the Sports Club last evening. The reading of the report and balance-sheet showed that the expenditure for the year had left a credit balance of £10. The club's senior team had carried off the championship for the second year In succession, thus retaining the silver challenge cup presented by Mr Moss Davis to the association and the banner given by Mr 1 Rees George and other gentlemen. Although not the winners in their grade, the "B" team were the only players to draw with the leading team. Second place in the junior grade was seenred, and the "A" team defeated the Whangarei representatives by two goals to nil. The team representing the club In the representative matches was Messrs F. R. Mason, G. S. Cowper, J. Lepine, J. Jessup, V. C. Kavanagh, and W. Allen. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. During the evening Mr J. Jessup was presented with a hockey stick given by Mr E. J. G. F. Greville for the player showing most improvement during the season. It was decided to hold the first practice on Saturday. April 28. Votes of thanks were accorded the chairman and retiring officials, and the following were elected for the ensuing season: — President, Colonel Gudgeon; vice-presidents, Messrs W. S. Whitley, J. H.
