LONDON, April 10. In the House of Commons, replying to SfcH. Cos's question as to whether the GOTermnent intended to contanue its proiMtion of contractors 5 supplying forugH frozen mutton to the Army, the Secretary of State for War (Mr R. B. BiiHane) was of opinion that quality nd price should alone be considered. Seprying to Mr R- Laidlaw, the Chancellor of the Exchequer CMr H. Asgnith) promised to consider the claims of the British investor in the colonies for inecial relief, and if, and when possible, to remit the income tax, but at present k was advised that it was not clear that fig incidence was unfair. . , " — —.
