ONEHUNGA.

A special meeting of the Onehunga Borough Council was held last evening, when.there were present: The Mayor (Mr Angus W. Gordon) in the -chair Crs. S. Barr, W Morton, sen., W. Blyth, A. Hutchison, G. Moody, C. A. Osborne, J. Williams, and W. Colledge. The Mayor: The contractor could refuse to call on such- people for a vtlme. and then they conld-be proceeded against under the Public Nuisances Act Cr. Blyth moved: "That Messrs Bray anaCo, s request be acceded to." He thought the Council should agree with the contractors for another year. Cr. Morton said it ■would be better to let Messrs Bray and Co complete their contract with three months' notice.
