AN EARLY ULTIMATUM.

LONDON, October 23
The Sultan has sent a further Note to the Powers, in which he protests against the presence of the agents of the Powers at Salonika, and says they are trespass ing upon his rights and interests.
The Powers are preparing a joint ultimatum, to be sent to Turkey, on the sub ject of the control of Macedonia's finances, and if that is fruitless, a united naval demonstration will be made.
