RAGLAN. The Raglan Co-operative Dairy Co.'s new butter factory was opened on October 18th. The machinery has been supplied and fitted up by Messrs J. U. MacEwan and Co and the buildiug was erected by MrW.J. bmith (of Raglan). There Is every indication of a ! ood dairying season. The district which will be tapped by this factory comprises some of the best laud In the county, and with the high prices ruling for butter the uew company should get a good start. Mr F L West, late of Mangorel, Is manager. 'The Te Mata Dairy Co. have made several alterations to their factory and put In some new machinery, including a "Humble refrigerator.
