FATALITIES AT TIMARU.
SUPPOSED SUICIDE. A FAKMEPt DROWNED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TDIARU, this day. Mr ,7ohn Melntyre, a farmer, near Pleasant Point, was found fatally shot at six o'clock this morning on the roadside near his home. It is thought to be a case of suicide. While attempting to cross the river at Opihi this morning with a team, Henry Oidfield, a Temuka farmer, was drowned. The liver was in Hood at the time of the disaster.
