TAXING ADVERTISING MATTER.
LONDON, January 19. The Lobden Club has decided to represent to the Commonwealth Government the trouble and injury inflicted upon British traders by the new protectionist impost on advertising matter. This impost, it is urged, apparently eontra/iicta the Australian Government's expressed desire to extend to the Motherland the best conditions for importation.
