A ruaix-li was played on the Kingsland ground last Saturday between teams representing the City Council and E.D.C.C, which resulted in a win for Eden. For the home team (Freeman (51) and A. E. Grindrod (4<J) batted well, and treated the spectators to a lively exhibition of cricket. For the City Council Freeman (14), Moon (13).
