GLASS WORKS INDUSTRY.

We understand that Mr J. J. Craig £as purchased the plant, buildings and other assets of the New Zealand Glass Company, in liquidation. It is the intention of Mr Craig to form a new company to continue the business, and he is giving all the old shareholders, who were debenture-holders, the privilege of taking shares in the new concern on the same terms as those purchased by him, which is a very fair offer to the shareholders, who have lost so much money in the old company. We hope that the Bew company will have a prosperous career, as it is a very important industry, and a large employer of labour.
