'At the rifle rauge, Waiuku, on Thursday last, the annual tiriug for the Champion licit took place. The weather was good, but owing to harvesting commencing there was not a large muster. The pre-jent holder, Lieut. Makgill, at the last competition beat Lieut. Bent by three points: this year the order Is reversed, Li-ut. Bent beating Lieut. Makgill by 10 points.
