AMUSEMENTS.
FITZGERALD BROS.' CHRCUS. Young people, and no doubt many older ones, will be pleased to learn that Fitzgerald Bros.' Circus and Menagerie opens in Auckland next Monday. This time Mr Dan Fitzgerald is in charge, and Mr Frank Jones (advance agent) is already in town making 'the necessary arrangements. Any amount of novelties are announced, including a team of six Japanese wrestlers and an umpire from the famous Oska Wrestlers' Guild. Aucklanders will thus be enabled to witness how the race that captured Port Arthur amuses itself when at play. The Ashton Family of aerial trapeze artists make their appearance this time, and Dr. Gordon will once more show his astonishing feats of strength. The menagerie on this occasion contains many strange animals, including some picked up during the recent tour in Australia. Mr Bert Royle arrived in town ye*> terdny to pave the way for Mr J, U, Williamson's Russo-Japanese Bio Ta. ibleau, which opens at His Majesty's on (January 30.
