THE LAND COMMISSION.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.! WELLINGTON, this day. It is atated that the Stipendiary Magistrate from one of the large centres will be appointed chairman of the Land Tenure Commission, that both branches of the Legislature will be represented on the Commission, and that two of the most experienced Crown Lands Commissioners, such as Mr. Humphries, of Canterbury, and Mr. Stranehon, of Wellington, or Mr. D. Barron, of Otago, will also be members.
