A DRUNKARD'S END.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CARTERTON, this day. A rabbiter named Edward Watts, aged 55, was found dead in a whare at Gladstone with the side of his head blown off, and a gun clasped in his hands. Deceased had been drinking heavily lately. A verdict of death from, the" result of a gunshot wound, and that there was no evidence to show whether the shot was accidental or not, was returned by the coroner's jury whkh inquired into the ease.
