I*-: ' A special meeting of the members of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board was held, this afternoon for the purpose of considering , the report of the Hospital Commission. There were present Messrs I John McLeod (chairman I, E. R. Da vies. S. C. Brown, G. J. Garland, A. Bruce. W. R. Bloomfield, M- Casey, J. Bollard, Sr.H-R, A. R. Harris, and L. J. Bagnall. In opening the business the chairman explained the purpose for which the meeting was called. Mr McLeod said it was regrettable* that the report had reached the Board while the case against the Senior Medical Officer was still trader trial. He thought, under the circumstances, the only thing to be done was to defer for the present consideration of the portion of the report that referred to the Senior Medical Officer.'
