(To the Editor.! Sir, —I want to let you know how badly Ihe Board of Education treats their servants. A friend of mine—a pupil teacher in her third year—has been removed sixty miles from her home to make room for a first-year pupil teacher who has only been appointed by the Board seven weeks, and although the School Committee protested against it they treated it with conlei'ipt. Ihey sent a letter :o say tho wished '-o put tbe pupil ie-i.-'ier- as nor their relations as possible, because their pay was so small, and this young girl they sent here to be near her relatit _«, while my friend they sent away from her home. Then there was a pupil teacher 'o be removed from the Ponsonby School to here, and the committee would not allow it, and the Board gave in to their decision and took no notice of our committee—l am, etc., FAIR PLAY.
