Why then is ! there such an agitation when a properly-* conducted "home" is to be established? .Is it the name they fear: The Christchurch people have not protested against their "consumptive camp." (I see by your paper that even the sneak thief approves of its bread.) Many Continental towns have established homes, and it is well known that there is a makeshift one close to us in Auckland. A lady is about to start it. I suppose the Council think they can easily settle her. and they certainly show no sympathy with suffering humanity.
