UMPIRES' ASSOCIATION ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Umpires' Association was heltf In Sports Club Room last evening, when there was a large attendance of members. Mr E. Ford presided. The report and balance sheet were read aud adopted. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Mr Gco. Lankuain (cx-presldeut) was elected a life member; Mr E. Ford was elected president; Mr K. Stevenson, vice-president; gneral committee, Messrs Wilsou, Hammlll and Greenland: examination committee, Messrs Wilson, Stevenson, and Fletcher; secretary and treasurer. Mr S. Fletcher; aqditor, Mr G. Si B roughton. There were fonr new. members elected, subject to passing; their 'examination.' .Tie: meeting was - a poet enthusiastic one,; and everything Points to; a aoccessful season.
