The Premier bad gone out previously in the train. The Governor was welcomed by the Mayor of Mosgiel. and there was a i good turn-out to meet him. His Excellency waf afterwards entertained at iuueheon by the Mayor and the City Corporation, after "which a visit wa« paid to the Mo.=giel Woollen Mills, where the process of manufacture was watched with interest. The employees were then gathered in the .show room, where the Governor briefly addressed them, and he was heartily cheered.
