The Tanr—nga's S-ceeaser. (Received 10.15 a.m) SYDNEY, this day. The cruiser Phoebe is to replace the Tauranga as drill ship for New Zealand, while the Encounter, sister ship to the Challenger, will relieve the Wallaroo early next year. [The Phoebe is a third-class twin-screw cruiser of 2575 tons, and the Encounter ;-. second-class twin-screw cruiser of 5800 tons.]
