RECENT OFFICIAL VISITORS THANK THE PREMIER. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Premier lias received the following letters in connection with the visit last year of Japanese officials: Government, of Hokkaido. Sapporo, Japan, December 1903. Right lion. R. J. Seddon, Premier of New Zealand. Sir, —I have the honour to express my deep gratitude to you for your great kindness in affording facilities in various lines to Mr. N. Takoka, Director of the Colonial Department of this Government, who lately visited, your country for the purpose of studying matters in connection with colonisation. (Signed) Baron Y.
