THE KISHINEFF MASSACRES.

1 ST. PETERSBURG. December 22. Sentences have been passed at Kishineff on the authors of the disturbance which caused tne massacres at Grets-hin and Morosjuk. The accused were indicted for murder, and they received sentences of seven and live years' respectively. Twenty-two others received sentences of imprisonment ranging from six months to two years. Twelve were acquitted. Those found guilty were ordered to pay the costs.

General Petrussoff, the Governor of Kishinetf, told the Jews that if they defended themselves in the event of an attack, he would be unable to rely on his troops to maintain order, as they were exasperated at the recent trials.
