SUPPOSED LOSS OF A LARGE VESSEL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WESTPORT. this day.

The harbourmaster at Karamea ieports that a large wreck must have taken place. The following articles have been picked up washed ashore: ' A largo cedar door, turned table legs, skylight, companion of a cabin, the lining of 'tween decks of a large ship painted blue, and a lot of timber, tobacco, and clothing. The steamers Alexander and Aotea both recently reported having passed floating wreckage.
